I use this to catch pinfish and croaker for bait. Although I have caught countless numbers of good sized sand trout and even a 8 lb black drum by tipping the hooks with shrimp.
Only thing is that it gets tangled pretty easily when you pick up multiple fish on it.

In the summer when the striper and blues are around, the only bait that is available is tinker mackeral. These tiny sabiki's work great but are very delicate. Tinker's ignore even 1 size bigger. Ive tested it.. Order lots though. they tangle and break fast. I believe that is why they work so well.

usually, the smaller the number the larger the hooks are. however, the smaller the number, the shorter the length is. i want the largest size possible...is it the #3 or the #8??
