Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by great for the money This item is worth it just for the rod. I have pulled both a 6Ft spinner shark and a 5Ft blacktip shark throw ruff surf with this same rod and reel. I am confident this reel could handle most fish. This thing is no Penn 9/0 but you will find it in a rod holder in the sand next to mine. I load mine with electrical tape then 80LB braid topped with 100LB mono. July 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Red Snapper Rig I added 150 yds of 50 lb Mono and 300 yds of 40 lb Braided line to fill the reel. It worked perfect for our Red Snapper trip. The picture shows 2 caught with this rig in Pensacola! July 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Combo for the money Bought this combo to fish for red snapper. Must say I got my money's worth, great combo at a great price. June 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Reel and Rod Combo Purchased 2 sets to do some off shore fishing in the Keys, after 1 day of use the top roller from one rod just fell apart. The other set is still good. The lesson... you get what you paid for. June 20, 2013
