Bought this combo a few years back for Chesapeake Bay stripers, have used it in Florida for grouper, snappers, flounder and more, never a problem, just keeps crankin em in!

I just bought this combo today. Was recommended by salesman for king fishing and bull reds. Headed out tomorrow morning to try it out. Loaded with 30# test and ready to cast.

Bought the combo for winter cod fishing in Rhode Island and I am glad I did. Rod's action is fairly heavy, but with some practice I was feeling most bumps! Reel is fairly powerful and smooth allowing me to retrieve the big lunk heads from depths of 120+ feet with ease!! I had no problems with this combo in below freezing temps.

The combo purchased was an excellent value for the price of the product. Have purchased other "combo's" from other manufacturers at similar price in the past but with significant less quality. Would highly recommend this product.
