I have too tell all about this reel . I have own Penns my whole life and thought I would try this reel .I can tell you It has lived up to all my expectation, smooth drag , qiuck ratio and a reel that you would love too own , get one you will not be dissappointed

I got this thinking it was somewhat different:
Boy was I right; a little bigger than what i first wanted but the ease quickly made up for it. I love the simplicity and the feeling that it's there to work.

This reel is perfect for the person who doesn't want to sink a bunch of money into a reel, or just doesn't have that kind of money to spend on a reel. For people like me, who do big saltwater fishing a couple times a summer, because i don't live in a ocean state, it is perfrct for you too. I didn't feel the need to go more expincive than this. The truth is you really don't. As you probably know everyone likes the penn senators, this offshore angler has more drag than the equil penn senator. I just said that to show you that this reel is very nice, and it performs excelent! you won't regret buying this reel. it also won't rust like the penn senators, because it has a very strong, trurdy graphite outside frame! all around good buy!
