Excellent product. Outfishes everyone on the pier and the breakwater every time throwing conventional mackerel tree rigs. Just cut it into 3 pieces and you will have two 3 hook rigs, and one 2 hook rig for example. I cast mine with a half ounce bank sinker on the back or a diamond jig. Comes as an 8 hook rig, so great buy for your buck. Takes me very little time to load the bucket with fresh macks for striper bait.

A great fishing tool for both snappers in summer and herring in winter

OK these rigs are very good for catching bait and small fish. I fished of a pier in St. Augustine and you literally just drop this in the water and jiggle it and within 5 seconds you'd have 2 to 5 small fish on the line. These are great if you are fishing with an impatient child because they are quick, easy, and can be used with a small pole. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is the big tangling problem.

these things look like a school of baby shrimp drop these anywhere there are baitfish and you will catch them
the hooks are very small and very sharp
you can take the rig out of the package straight onto the rod super easy
let it sit for 10 min in a populated area and you will have every hook with a herring, sardine, threadfin,or any other baitfish

I think I'm going to get these for catching herring to catch stripers. Should I fish these with bait or plainAnswers

I fish these plain with a small castmaster on the end to give it alittle more flair and casting weightA:Â
as long as there are fish there you dont need to bait them but if there are no visible fish you may want to put a tiny peice of night crawler on 2 or 3Top 250 Contributor

Use them plain, it works better for herring because these look like baby shrimp. Now if you want to, you can cut Berkley shrimp into pieces and put them on the hook to sweeten up the sabiki rig. I haven' t tried it but I have heard about it in Florida Sportsman. I highly recomend you to just use it plain.1 of 1
