I have been using this for my leader material in 50lbs. Trying to do knots is a nightmare because it has way too much memory when tightening the line down. the only reason why i gave it two stars is because of the durability and strength it has. i will definitly not buy this again and also i Tried using it for my primary use of Surf Fishing. you do the math.

I BOUGHT THIS LINE TO PUT ON MY BAITCASTER THAT HOLDS 200 YARDS OF 17 LB TEST AND I GOT THE 500 LB TEST CAUSE I GOT SICK AND TIRED OF GETTING SNAGGED AND ALWAYS BREAKING MY LINE ON BIG FISH AND WHEN I GET SNAGGED CONSIDERING I KEEP MY DRAG ON MAX ALL THE TIME AND WHEN I GOT THIS LINE WITH 500 LB TEST ANDE IT TOTALLY JUST TOATALLY JUST ROCKS . IF YOU EVER GET SNAGGED YOU CAN JUST PULL THE TREE STUMP OR OTHER SNAG MATERIALS STARIAHGT OUT OF THE WATER THAT WAY YOU NEVER BREAKANY MORE OF YOUR FAVORITWE RIGS OFF OR LURES AT FIRST WHEN I PUT IT ON IT WOULDNT FIT THROUGH ME LEVELWIND SO I HAD TO TAKE A PIECE OF METAL REBAR AND RAMROD IT THROUGH THE LEVELWIND EYE SO IT WOULD FIT SAME WITH THE TOP EYE. THEN AFTER THAT I WAS READY IT HOLDS ABOUT 10 YARDS OF THE 500 LB TEST AND ITS NOT A FIGHT ONCE THWE FISH IS HOOKED I JUST REEL HIM ON IN AND TAKE THE HOOK OFF AND THEN I RELAEASE HIM TO FIGHT ANOTHER GLORIOUS DAY BUT OVER ALL I LOVE THIS LINE AND I DONT REALLY CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY THAT ITS TOO HEAVY FOR MY ULTRA LITE ROD OR REEL BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS I HAVE TO USE A 10 LB WEIGHT TO CAST IT BUT OVERALL IT IS JUST AMAZING LINE AND IS REALLY TUFF AND ITLL WORK !!!
