Offshore Angler introduced Extreme Fluorocarbon in 1996, and quickly gained a strong following by making it affordable for the average angler. And today, anglers all over the world are discovering the advantages of using fluorocarbon leader material. This amazing filament, because of its minimal light-reflective qualities, is less visible to fish, resulting in more bites for its diameter than mono. In addition, the multiple carbon fiber construction allows a shredded leader to retain even more strength, whereas the slightest nick in your monofilament leader is usually the kiss of death. The word is out -- Extreme Fluorocarbon outperforms mono time and time again for more fishing success. And what fisherman worth his salt wouldn't want to ratchet his success level up a few notches? 25-meter spool.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Leader Material I use this leader in both the 30 and 40lb test spool. Easy to tie and has good knot strength. It is strong enough to pull through the toughest undergrowth. The line holds up well in very abrasive areas, with little to no fraying. This is just the qualities that you want and need in a leader, this will assure a landing of your catch. Just take a look at the photos. I wish it came in 100lb test, so I could use it on my heavier pole. The only downside is the price. I would definitely recommend. June 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Value Very competitively priced. Flourocarbon is very expensive and this product makes it more affordable. February 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good Leader Material I usually fish for SeaBass and more often than not, dogfish (Sandsharks) tend to hit clam baits. They also tend to twist and turn and roll on their way to the top. I can say that under normal circumstances, this leader held it's own. It also makes great snelling material as well as it tends to be easy to manipulate and coils seems to stack easily on the hookshank. I also use this material for fluke fishing and again, works very well with Spro bucktails and homemade rigs. I would definetly recommend it to anybody that is a DIY rigging kind of guy/gal. Rated 5 out of 5 by Good leader This is really good leader. I use it for salmon and they barely nick it up. It is really good leader for the price. October 2, 2013
