Offshore Angler Double Strength Split Rings
split rings used on Brazil Peacock bass
I used these "Offshore Angler XX rings" on all of the lures that I took to the Amazon, Brazil last January and caught some nice Peacocks to 14 pounds and NEVER had a hint of a split ring failure although I had 80 lb braided line snapped twice on topwater strikes.
Others in our camp lost some nice fish using the rings that came on the lures.

I fish for northern pike in Michigan and catch a lot of big fish. I use these split rings when I make my own leaders. They handle the power of big pike and keep performing well. I use the 50LB split rings and it will handle the big pike. I use the split ring to give the snap on my leader mobility.

Best Purchase for other utility.
Unfortunately I did not like these rings, they have a large diameter steel wire with which they are made thinner. I can not stand the attack of the voracious peacockbass.

Purchased these to use in salt water. They are stronger than the regular stainless steel split rings.
Will work good for putting hooks on plugs and using on leaders.
