Offshore Angler Deluxe Flat Head Jigheads
Used to be great
These jigs used to be excellent with a painted eye and aggressive collars that held soft plasics well. Really extended the life of plastic baits. The hooks were and still are excellent. However, a couple of years ago the design was changed and the collars no longer hold the bait any better than a cheap jig with a single barb (and these are expensive). They also have stick on 3D eyes that fall off easily. As a result I no longer purchase what used to be my favorite jig for salt water. I wish they would go back to the old design.

When they load up on it. It will stick'em
These jig heads are by far the best I have seen using an a umbrella rig. The 3/0's have a heavy gauge hook that will not bend like most jig head hooks. The paint jobs on the heads could be improved though. I'm not a big fan of the umbrella rig since its hard to throw (in any condition), but when I do these are the best jig heads I have found using a Grub.

Why was the 1/2 & 3/4 oz discontinued.
These are the best jigheads I've ever used for saltwater trolling. The hook points stay sharp after many hook-ups. The best for dead bait trolling, inshore or offshore, that I've ever used. These hooks have never straightened while fighting a large fish, such as Kings, Whahoo etc. I'd like to see them restocked. Old item # 1/2 oz 44784-25504.

offshore angler flathead jioheads
offshore angler deluxe flathead jigheads perform well. the wide gap/laser hooks are strong and make easy hook sets. downside the bait keeper section of jighead is not soft plastic friendly. also jigheads are actually heavier than listed on package,1/8oz are 1/4oz and 1/4oz are 3/8oz and soo on.
