I use this lure for both trolling and casting. They dive down fast, and stay down even as they approach the boat. The holographic/reflective colors and the clearcoat are fantastic, although the color selection is a bit limited. I really want a Green Mackerel pattern, but it is unavailable. Otherwise this is a fantastic lure.

I fish for my own restaurant here in Puerto Rico, so I demand the best from my gear .....
The lure needed to be tuned right out of the box, but once you get the lure running right it will hold at 8 Knots on calm sea's, 6 Knots on rougher sea's.
You also need to change the split rings to a heavier size the one's provided will stretch it you are using 50 lb class tackle or stronger while hooked up with a big Wahoo or Tuna, other then that these lures are good to go, "defiantly a great buy".

The DD6 is excellent for bringing up those hugh stripers from the deep. We have experienced that due to the size of the lure, we were landing between 5 and 6 lb stripers and one 10 pounder, at Lake Powell Utah. The Walleye are not imtidated by the lure at all. Just set the lure back about 75' and troll at about 3 MPH. The lure runs straight and true.

Details:
do these lures hold up for a while, or after a few big fish do they tend to get used up? also any color recommendations?Answers
A:
Once these lures get out of tune, they tend to run badly, my lures lasted only for about 5 good fish...... I will not buy them again, I would rather spend a little more money on Rapala or Yo-ZuriA:
The lures hold up well. You may have to change the hooks if you use them often in saltwater as the hooks will rust after repeated use.Answers

Read the details on the lure package. Fully describes approx depth of each.1 of 1
