I use these swivels to rig for catfish. I fish in the Missouri river a lot around a lot of rocks and cover. I prefer these to a standard 3-way swivel for strength and I have less trouble with them tangling. I usually fish with 50 lb. test mainline. I use and 80 lb. leader to the hook. On the dropper I use like a 20 lb. leader to the sinker. This allows me to easily break the sinker off when it inevitably becomes snagged in the rocks and still save my swivel hook and bait. Very handy for this kind of setup.

Sadly, out of a pack of ten, three would not swivel smoothly at all rendering them useless, poor poor quality control....happened with the previous pack as well....the good ones work fine. But don't expect to get what you pay for here.
