just landed a 300 + lbs shark with a 70 lb rated snap swevel. Never had one fail. I have had braided line fail and leaders fail but never had one open or fail.

I give these snap swivels 3 stars because thats what they deserve. They work well for inshore and minor offshore fishing. And they work great on your key ring.
