For use with mono or wire.
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better Than Steel I have been using these crimps for rigging saltwater trolling lures for over 10 years. They are much easier to use than steel crimps. Granted they corrode quicker but because we re-rig our lures when we see the hook needs changing or the wire leader is starting to fray the corrosion is not a factor. October 4, 2010

Q:

what size to use

Details:
Can you tell me what size to use for 100 lb test and also 150 lb test?????
than you.
Also as a suggestion, It would seem to make more sense to list them acording to pound test of line to be used with along with the diameter of line.
I think more people buy them according to the lb test cause I for one can tell you I have no clue the diameter of the line.
thanks

A:
The size to use with the 100lb test is the 1.2mm, with the 150lb test it would be the 1.5mm. Yes, they are listed by the pound test in the catalog, it would be nice to have that information online as well.

A:
The smallest, 1mm, but that is generally for 60-80lb mono. But for only 20 lb mono, it might be too big. If you just need a loop for 20 lb, youtube "perfection knot", it will video show you how to tie a quick loop.

Yes, they are to make line loops for rigging and the 2.8 would be for one 2.8mm line.

The larger sleeves should work for decoy line; such as 2.00 or higher.
