I think even more than landing the fish is the home run sound when you whack it with the bat. I've used one for years - great durability and the audio experience when you whack the fish is outstanding

Like a Ram 2500, this bat is tough. In Mexico it is legal to harvest Marlin. After landing a 150 pound Striped Marlin, it was time to end the fight. 3 blows to the Marlin and it was out! Also can take Large Tuna out.
