What a difference I just purchased a Martin bow and did not have a stabilizer for it yet. There are so many I didn't know which one to get. I took a chance on this one and the difference is night and day. Much less vibration and noise. Would recommend to anyone. GREAT PRODUCT!!!! December 30, 2008
better balance and less shock Put one of the Octane 11.5" stabilizers on my PSE Brute LT. The hand shock was severely lessened and the bow was balanced perfectly. My accuracy increased significantly. June 7, 2011
Good Stab I like the over idea and technolofy put into this device. My bow is aready pretty quiet (Kronik), but I wanted to see if it could be even quieter. I also wanted to see if I could reduce some slight hand shock I feel with this bow. This stab did both. It did reduce noise over all and also helps disipate some hand shock. My groupings do seem to a small amount tighter(were pretty tight to begin with). The only reason I gave it 4 stars is becuase it did not come with any directions/warranty info and is a little expensive...It was simple enough to install, and pretty straight forward but some directions would have ensured it was being used and performing properly(pistion action). It also could have explained any warranty related information. September 18, 2009
Just plain sexy I bought this for my new redhead kryptic and it just added a little stability it takes all the vibration out of each shot. I had a very cheap stabilizer on my old hoyt 2000, and i had no idea what i was missing out on until i upgraded to the octane. Just out of curiousity i put it on my old hoyt and it nearly deadened the vibration in that bow as well. But the best part of the octane is the awesome design and presence factor. Looks dont neccessarily matter when it comes to performance, but it sure looks sexy! October 29, 2010

A:
So you can further add more stabilization attachments onto the end of your current stabilizer, there are balancers and other things you can put on a stabilizer, but those are primarily long shot competition attachments, none of them are worthwhile for casual shooting or hunting.

You can add weights or another stabilizer to the end of the octane stabilizer. The 11.5" model comes with the weights.
