Oakley's Whisker Sunglasses feature durable C-5â„¢ alloy that is digitally sculptured into the thinnest wire frame ever created by Oakley. This innovative frame construction creates more flexibility and provides an adaptable fit with minimal cranial pressure, and supple Unobtainium components increase comfort. These high-performing Whiskers combine all-day comfort with the unbeatable clarity Oakley's High Definition Optics technology delivers. Pure Plutonite lenses filter out 100% of all UV and maintain impact protection that meets ANSI Z80.3 standards.
Oakley's polarized lenses are specially engineered to block the blinding rays of glare that are magnified by flat surfaces such as snow, water and pavement. Oakley polarization technology utilizes a liquid infusion process to bond the polarizing filter at the molecular level. This unique process eliminates the haze and distortion found in conventional technologies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Polarized Sunglasses on Earth Some people say that they could not buy a pair of $195 dollar sunglasses. I used to think the same thing too until the day I bought mine and went fishing. It was unreal what I could see that my partner could not see. If you do a lot of sight fishing and you do not have a pair of these you are doing yourself a major disservice. My fishing buddy had a pair of these non polarized and he could not see anything that I could. I had him stand beside me while I pointed things out. He couldn't see them until I loaned him my glasses. He was astonished at the difference. I put his glasses on and realized that all his was doing was cutting down on light penetration but not cutting the glare off of the water. I will even buy the $80 replacement lenses from Oakley when I get these scratched up too much. December 30, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the cost I have had a pair of these for over a year now and love them. They wrap around the eyes just enough to block the sun from the side, but still allow air to flow to keep from fogging or trapping sweat near the eyes. They are sturdy, well built, and by far the best pair of glasses I have ever owned. When it comes time to purchase a new pair of glasses, which by the looks of my current pair will not be for a while unless something major happens to them, I will purchase these again without hesitation. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great glasses! I purchased the polarized version and the vision is great. Glare is reduced to very low levels. The frames are also very comfortable, although it was a little different getting used to the straight ear pieces. The lenses slightly wrap around the eyes, shielding you from peripheral glare.
