I like the product but was disappointed when I removed all the parts and it became readily apparent that the ratchet strap was missing. I had to call Bass-Pro to inform them and fortunately within a few days one arrived in the mail.

Well this was my first lock-on treestand that I've ever used. I specifically looked for a stand with armrests and minimal moving parts/least amount of parts. I picked this stand because I liked how the armrests were basically a continuation of the seat, the seat is just a net so you don't have to worry much about squirrels chewing it up, and it had a footrest. That being said......the armrests actually are separate from the seat tubing. They are just held on by 2 tension pins on each armrest. This does not hold them tight and allows them to turn in the tube slightly, causing noise. Before I even took it out to the woods and set it up, I fixed this by installing a bolt and nut on each armrest to keep them from turning. It helped a lot and quieted it down. The foot rest can be folded down for packing and then folded back out for the footrest. It has 2 little metal rods that act as a stop to keep the footrest raised. They bend very easily because they are not big enough diameter to support any extra strain. I do like the net style seat and especially how well it will fold up right against the tree when needing to stand and stay close to the tree. This helped me on my second hunt when I had 3 does come in and they did not like what they saw in the tree. I stayed still long enough thanks to being able to lean against the tree.
Al-in-all......I liked all the features of the stand, they just need to be slightly improved. The footrest could stand to be a couple inches lower because the seat-to-platform height is already about perfect. The armrests need to be attached in a more snug and firm manner to prevent movement/noise. The armrests could also be a couple inches higher.

This stand is light weight, easy to set up, super quiet, and very comfortable. I would recommend this to those of us who will sit all day.
