Easy to climb and plent of room. A little heavy and a little cumbersome to set up. Still overall great stand

I have a summit climbing tree stand and a ol man climbing tree stand. I'll take the ol man over the summit any day. I like the way the arms fold against the tree trunk, gets them out of the way. It climbs easy, it has the strap on the seat section that when you strap it against the front of the tree trunk it prevents the stand from tipping up and falling down on you like the summit does. I have started using it by sitting and facing the tree, I put the trunk of the tree between me and the probable direction the deer willbecoming from, works like a charm, they never see me and the arms of the tree stand don't get in the way.

I am 260lbs and feel very comfortable in this stand. The 24inch seating platform gives me more than enough room. Quiet and folds up to become very compact when walking. Great stand!

I love the mesh seat it's very comfortable, I like the foot rest position it will spoil you. Don't listen to the bad review the cable can't attach that way on the top bar because it's removable. All you have to do is move the cable up to the top position on one side or the other and it works the same as the old stand. The new stand is a tad a the heavy side but they make aluminium models too. The old air elite was light but that carbon fiber is super loud The new powder coated metal is a lot quieter. They are also more safe with the new quick clip pins threaded with a knob to prevent pin backing out unlike the old stand that had Lawsuits on them.
