Nylon-Coated Wire Leaders
Just got back from Canada fishing for Muskie for the first time in my life. I read these and other reviews of several leaders and was wondering which one to use.
I'll tell you I was more than hesitant to buy these after the bad reviews I read ..........but there was not much choice, so I got these. used the 9" 30lb the whole time. My last cast of the final day fishing I hooked a giant Muskie. The leader held and I landed it in the boat with the help of my great guide. The fish measured 49" and the guide said it would be about a 30 pounder.
The leader did it's job and I went home with the fishing trip of a life time.

Purchased several of these in the 30# 24" silver and black. Use them for surf fishing the outer banks. have not had any problems with the slinky effect and have caught both blues and drum on them. no product defects since I started using these last year. Would recommend for use surf fishing to anyone who asks.

Problems with 6 & 9 inch
I bought three packs each of the 6 & 9 inch to use on my four umbrella rigs. Loss numerous plastic shad, castaway lure and fish due to leader breakage and the snaps straightening out.

I purchased 6 packs of the 20lb. 36" for a trip to Belize. We were fishing with 12lb.-15lb mono. In the first day and a half we had 5 snap swivels fail and lost the fish. We ended up cutting the snap swivels off and crimping jigs directly to the leaders. I will not purchase this product again.
