  • Free-spinning propeller blade
  • Incredible flash
  • Provocative sound
From the heart of Walleye Country comes a legend in the hearts of walleye anglers everywhere. Northland Fishing Tackle, Bemidji, Minnesota, has been making innovative walleye jigs and rigging components for over a quarter of a century. From the beginning, founder John Peterson and a host of other PWT pros have worked together to develop the most innovative line of quality walleye tackle in the world. Today, it's no stretch to say that more walleyes have been taken on Northland Fishing Tackle jigs and rigs than on any other line of walleye tackle! The hottest jig in the West. Free-spinning propeller blade adds incredible flash and sound appeal and slows the fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ARS1234 Great jig for walleye. The only thing I wish they made a bigger variety pack without the grubs. Most walleye guys use nightcrawlers to tip the jig not grubs. July 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must have These are some the best jigs we've used for sauger, walleye and even crappie. We tip them with either a minnow or half of a crawler and slow troll or drift fish them. Excellent jigs. April 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by jig head use these whistling jig heads with zoom fat albert grubs or zoom tab tail grubs and watch the results. the black, gold, white, glow and fire tiger jig heads coupled with these zoom grubs of various colors to match the jig head work very well for me. these coupled together have brought me a large amount of success with small mouth bass, walleye and crappie so far since i discovered the whistling jig head. more species to come biteing soon! July 11, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by best jig heads for where i fish these heads are nearly perfect. the inline spinner action lends itself to a variety of techniques for catching a wide variety of fish; walleye, white bass, crappie, even bucketmouths. smallmouths will kill 'em! i hope they never stop making these. A:
Bro, the size of hook on an 1/8th oz. jighead depends on the manufactuer who poured the lead mold for the jighook. Typically 1/8th comes in a size 2 or bigger, with size 1 hooks even 1/0 wide gaps not being too uncommon. Jiggy

A:
This depends on your depth. The 2" grub will work on all sizes of whistlers. Probably the 1/4oz and 3/8 oz are best.
