Northland Fishing Tackle Mimic Minnow® Spinnerbait
Northland Fishing Tackle's Mimic Minnow combines the lifelike movement and appearance of a soft plastic with the vibration and flash of a spinnerbait. The result: one highly productive wire bait that swims over, under, around, and through weeds, reeds, brush, and timber. The Mimic Minnow features a highly reflective holographic flash foil molded inside the body for a realistic Baitfish-Imageâ„¢ that fools 'em every time!

As with any bait, you have to match the conditions to have success. I have used all colors and types of these baits and the silver shad without the spinner is by far the most effective bait. I have caught numerous smallmouth, largemout, white bass, walleye, crappie, and even catfish and carp (on accident). The 1/8 oz seems to be the most effective as well. Change up the retrieval to trigger bites.

I like this lure because it is simple to use, and it works. I caught a nice 3.5lb bass in a pond this summer with it.

I used this in a lake not far from my house, and when I was fishing I spotted a nice rainbow trout so I casted it just inches away from it's face, and it ignored it!

I stumble upon these spinners this past Spring. On my 3rd cast I hit 36 inch Northern Pike and have caught numerous smallies out of my local river. Can't wait to try these when I visit my in-laws in Canada this summer.
