Its plastic "Y" guard keeps the salad away as the Jaw-Breaker slithers, wiggles and wobbles through even the thickest vegetation where giant bass, pike and musky wait. This was my first spoon purchase and usage and glad I decided to tie it on. I had purchased the spoon awhile back and never used it and that was a mistake after tying it on yesterday and not getting any hits on a crankbait or getting hooked in all the weeds. The spoon worked perfectly and loved the action it had as I was fishing a clear lake and so did the bass as couple of fish hit it coming through the weed cover. . Wished I had purchased more than just the one now but I will be making future purchases.

That spoon is a pike killer !! Drag it in the lilly pads from May to October, and vary the speed of your retrieve... And keep cool when the fish's mouth will explode the surface and that bait in the same time !!
Good for bass too...
Prefered colors for pike : Red/white and prism shad.
For bass : frog and fire tiger.
Try it, but keep it secret !!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Brddog A hot bass lure
Having used spoons as this in the past seasons I have found it is a really hot bass lure. The rubber protector over the hook keeps weeds from hanging up on it. my only advise is to some how repaint the spoon in
light color green, bass seem to perfer that color in WI.
