The action, quality and finishes are great. Previous reviews have complained that the finish gets damaged easily. So, until I find out how durable the finish really is, the spoon gets a "4". I'll write again when I have conclusive results.

Used this product for Canada Pike fishing. Did catch a couple of pike, so, I guess it serves its intended purpose, but... It did not get a ton of use and the paint is flaking off both the red hook and the spoon itself. The foil design is what is flaking off, so I guess it could always end up being used as a plain silver spoon. It also has less castability than other spoons of the same size because it is not heavy enough for its length.

a spoon is in the action you give it and this pattern of color schemes will just up your hook up ratios,be creative with altering the bend and just fish this all species catcher!fish onnnn!
