I bought these blades to try and create a little flash for reef flounder and the results are good so far. The majority of flounder we have boated since the purchase have been on bladed Carolina rigs. The only downside is the bluefish like the blades as much as the bait ... hence , I will buying more tonight!!

I picked up size #3 and #5 Colorado blades and put them on a 3/8 ounce Lucky Craft Redemption spinnerbait in Classic Shad color. The spinnerbait is pretty pricy, and together with the blades runs close to $20, which sounds a little crazy, I know. However, the realistic look of the spinnerbait head together with the blades has proven deadly. I think it looks like a small school of shad. In my first trip using it, I caught a 7.5 lb bass and two others over 5 lbs on it. Those are big fish for central Illinois. Consider replacing some of your spinnerbait blades with these. You won't regret it.

the first time i used one i had it on a 3/8 ounce white booyah and caught a 5 1/2 lb bass
