If one type of retrieve doesn't work, you have six other options to drive them to bite! Casting is dead on and distant with no wind, but accuracy is iffy in a breeze--keep it low and sidearm then. I have worn out four of these baits & never a tangle problem that a flip of the tip didn't correct. Watch the split rings. Be ready to change out to new oval ones. I sharpen the hooks first, then rotate six hooks 15 degrees so the retrieve angle of the hooks is NOT parallel with the line retrieve angle. (similar to Excalibur hooks). Fish do not come off!! I know that this bait will better my 14# 2oz bass that I caught on
a Bill Lewis Rat-L-Trap.

I ran across an article somewhere about these and had to buy a couple. Nice all around bait. The best way to describe it is it kind of looks like a lipless crankbait that floats. The action is somewhere between a spook and a popper meaning it does walk the dog like a spook but it spits like a popper, seems to be a unique combo. Oh yeah, it'll cast a mile.

This Is one bass attracting bugger! I've had some monster bass strke this lure but didn't get them hooked. I believe that I've fixed that problem though by replacing the manufactured hooks with the Mustad ultra point triple grip hooks. Now anything that gets this bait in its mouth will be licked! Don't get me wrong, the manufactured hooks are very sharp but not as sharp as their sticky replacements. This bait has amazing action with all of tha attributes of a walk the dog bait, a popper, and it has a knocker as a bonus. Everyone should have one of these baits in their tackle boxes.

I have caught well over 200 bass on this bait. I find that 1lb fish attack it with the same desire as did the 8lb fish I have
caught with it. That indicates a perfect chase bait for all conditions. GOODLUCK
