I had been using the Nite Ize phone cases for several years until I got a BB and went with the Otterbox.
When I switched to Android and found Otterbox didn't make one for my phone, I looked around and found they made this model that was big enough for my smartphone.
The magentic closure is secure and silent, not noisy and prone to clogging like velcro. I've carried this case (or others like it) on duty for close to 5 years and have never lost my phone. There's even room in the case for a mini sized pen, which is handy in my line of work.
