Rated 4 out of 5 by nikon realtree 10x25 compact I wanted a nice pair of compact binoculars at a lower end price point...these are clear, with no noticeable distortion at the edges. Focus is smooth and controllable. This pair included just two individual lense covers which could easily become lost. June 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Brand at a Great Value! I recommend these Nikon binoculars to any hunter, but I believe they are suited better for glassing nearby fields and spying through the woods. I'm guessing they weren't designed (by magnification) for use beyond 400 yards. Probably would need to upgrade for trips West. I have limited experience with binoculars (first pair actually), so I'm easily please. However, I did notice on a recent outing that the bottom of my field of vision had a foggy grey hue to them. That could have been from the humidity or perhaps my angle to the sun. All other times of use the hue was absent, probably just the sun or weather. The adjust features were nice and gave me no problems, and their compact size was nice. The strap is good enough for gov't workers, so nothing extra is needed there. I recommend buying them. $59.99 for Father's Day special cannot be beaten. Great Brand of Binocs at a Great Value. June 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nikon Binocular These binoculars are excellent! They are small, lightweight but they are powerful enough to see from long distances. Very clear vision, focuses easily. April 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Handy I wanted something light that I could carry when hiking, out in field , or sitting on fishing bank on on boat! They meet this criteria and are of excellent quality for my purpose and easy to use. I have a better pair of nikon for when in a blind or stand or looking long distances June 21, 2012

A:
No, they are not waterproof. From personal experience when I used them in high humidity, in my john boat or when moving from inside the a/c truck to the trail they would even fog up easily. I can't say that they were not bumped as they are "sealed" but they are definitely not water proof.
