I mounted this scope on my H&R Ultra and sighted it in prior to Shotgun season in Ohio. It took me 5 shots to Zero in at 50 yards. The 1/4 inch click adjustments worked fine. I took two shots at the 100yard target using the BDC circle and had a 1' group. The optics are clear and the eye relief is generous. With a lifetime warranty and bargain price, you cant beat this scope.

I bought this scope for my Ithaca model 37 deer slayer. Got it mounted on the shot gun and had it sighted in with 4 shots. The "Spot On" app for smart phones is amazing, just select your scope, ammo, and zero distance then the app will tell you what yardage each circle will be. It allows you to customize the zero distance for what your hunting situation is.This scope is SPOT ON!!!!!!

I have just gotten my shotgun hunter and have only been able to start to try it out.
Its mounted on a 935 Mossberg so to really sight it in properly I needed to purchase a Caldwell Lead Sled(from BassProShops) because of the quarter minnute incraments of adjustment .I know that once I have it dialed in,I can rely on the BDC rings and the Hornady sabots to knock down my trophy up to 250 yards.

I really like the field of view and the eye relief. Found the scope hard to zero in. Had to raise at least 40 clicks to get it on the paper at 25 yards After that it stayed dead on and lasted longer than my shoulder. I have it mounted on a Mossberg 695 12 ga. Have only fired at the range and can't wait until November.

You're setting the turret clicks back to zero but the reticle itself doesn't move when you do this. If you then 'dope your scope' for a particular shot, you can easily recover the base sight-in setting afterwards without counting clicks.
You set your turrets to zero after you zero your scope so that if you ever adjust your elevation or windage for a long shot you can easily return your scope to how it was zeroed. If you never use your turrets once your scope is zeroed zero reset turrets have no added value but since laser rangefinders have become common, many hunters are shooting distances where they need to adjust their turrets.
