Great Rangefinder This is a great rangefinder for the price. It is perfect if you wear glasses as it has a large eyepiece. The rangefinder is small and easy to use, and works very well with the Nikon retractable lanyard. Measurements are accurate on clear as well as foggy mornings, as well as low light. Would recommend to all. January 26, 2015
Prostaff 5 Laser Rangefinder This rangefinder compares favorably with the Bushnell Rangefinder it replaces. November 11, 2014
Only compliments for this invaluable tool! Very simple to use, as accurate as my tape measure with which I compared measurements, compact and it shuts itself off automatically. The Rangefinder monocular does need to gather some light for the display to be legible since the black display is hard to read against a black background. I did not test the waterproof claim (immersion at one meter for ten minutes) but the case is clearly well sealed except for the battery compartment. January 4, 2013
Great Buy Found this on sale at Gander Mountain, and being that it was a Nikon, I wanted it in the worst way! Its quick and simple to use, plus shuts itself off after a few moments whenever inactive. Cant wait to bring it out with me during deer season! September 5, 2013

It ranges up to 600 yards which is plenty for most people (which is 1/3 a mile and enough for most cases) and is great for archery as well. I use it for both.

A:
The ProStaff 5 does NOT have angle compensation reading. Nikon calls this "tru target technology"... this model does not have it. Do not let the other answer here mislead you.
