The laser rangefinder is easy to use, some difficulty changing from one mode to another, otherwise works well. Looking forward to using it this hunting season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HardcoreHunter68 Good item to have in the woods
I have used this item many times in the past month that I have owned it. I have found that it is easy to use and it appears to be accurate. I really haven't found any drawbacks to it. I know I sound like a spokesman when I say this but Nikon is a good company for optics. I'm just telling it how I see it.

I received my Prostaff 7 early this week. I bought it under the impression that it was somewhat like the Pursuit X1 where you can light up the cross hair and see the info in low light. I was able to exam the Pursuit but not the Prostaff 7. All in all the Prostaff functions very well in normal mode; but if you need to use it in low light the LED washes out the target your trying to look at and you can barely see the info in it. I would recommend it to people if they do not need to use it in low lighting.
