Bought a pair of Nikkon Binos and the caps just fall off. Don't like that. Called Nikkon and they said they are supposed to do that. I can see making them easy to flip off for quick viewing, but they are so loose I'd have to keep them in the case for fear I'd damage the lenses. Love the Binos, but hate the caps. Will return them and buy another brand that I can acually hang around my neck.

What a great pair of bino's , After having a stroke and losing some eyesight in my left eye I have become dependent on them. Great clarity and lightweight. Invest in a chest harness you wont be sorry!

ORDERED THE MONARCH 3 INSTEAD OF THE MONARCH 5 BECAUSE OF PRICE AND THE FACT THAT THE FRONT LENS CAPS WERE INTEGRATED TO THE BINOCULARS. EXCELLENT OPTICS PLUS GOOD PRICE AND SERVICE FROM BASS PRO SHOPS.

These binoculars for the price are the best in this class range. Very comparable to binoculars at $100 - $150 more. A much needed upgrade to my previous budget binoculars.
