Rated 4 out of 5 by Good, clear, long range optic Good quality scope and fits nice on my LR 308B..The clarity and FOV is military grade and this scope probably sits on more that a couple of military rifles. Now to the nitty gritty...Make sure your rifles barrel is 22" or 24" or the scope will not perform well. It is calibrated to shoot the 168 gr. BTHP at 2680 fps. Remember that if you purchase new ammo from the store that says its velocity is 2680, that is out of a long barrel rifle...My 18" barrel LR shoots this load 250 fps less than the listed velocity on the box....I have loaded ammo that will reach the listed velocity and with some tweeking you will be able to hit 12" metal gong at 600 yards every time off a bench...This scope is that good...I plan on purchasing another to go on my bolt action Remington. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty Darn Good I purchased the M-308 scope earlier this year, and am quite happy with its performance. I had bought a Remington 700VTR in .308 and this looked to be the perfect match in a scope. The rifle likes 165 & 168 gr bullets, and that is what the BDC reticle is calibrated to handle. I have had it target shooting, and it was easy to zero, easy to adjust for distance, and easy to re-zero. The only word of caution I have for anyone is that you can't use it with a tactical base that has more than a 20 MOA cant. I have a 40 MOA on that rifle, and the scope ran out of internal adjustment about 10" high at 100 yards. If you pair with a 20 MOA base, this scope is just about perfect. I can't wait to get out past 300 yards and really test the reticle for accuracy. Oh, and the glass is awfully clear too. October 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by USAF Retired The scope was everything I was hoping for. The only complaint I have is the way is was shipped nothing this small should take 10 days to delivered, if you use the free shipping promo-code be aware that it is a UPS & USPS combine and at the hand off no one new where it was currently and could not tell me a solid delivery date.
