Great Optics This M223 Scope is one of the best scopes I have seen since I got out of the military. After installing it on my AR15, M4 clone, I went to the range and witout any adjustments I was only about 1-2 inches off center. After sighting in, it went into an effortless center mass every time at 100 yards. Although it is designed for the 55 grain bullet I use the 62 grain XM855 bullets and using directions in the manual you can easily compensate with no problem. I am going to get another one for my long range accurized AR15 for shots past 450 yards and see how it does in competition, if they let me use it. So far the repetability is also great using the M223 mount from Nikon, provided you use the same channels on the rail. The M223 has very well thought out BCD retical and a crisp, clear sight picture, you can't ask for more, but, they did. The BDC retical is fabulous and with an adjustable paralux knob that allows distance settings is an additional bonus to an already powerful rifle scope. I will update this review after shooting some long distances, until then stay safe and keep shooting. November 23, 2011
Great scope for the price Can't be beat for the price and it's a Nikon! A must for your AR15 January 21, 2015
Very good scope for the price I have a similar Leupold 1-4x scope on another rifle and I do not feel the optics are superior, the BDC is spot on. I have run thousands of rounds through my rifle with this scope in the last 3 years, including two trips to Front Sight NV, and feel it is an excellent accessory. I had it out to the range last weekend and was aiming at a 355 yard mule deer silouette: hit it every shot. The only problem I had was with the Nikon scope mount which came loose after about 600 rounds: it was my fault for not checking it. A drop of LockTite Blue and it has not budged since. July 7, 2013
Never a bad Monarch Great glass for the money that has no problems bringing in the center of a 4" sporting clay @ 600 yds. I shoot frequently at 600 yds and always reset my turrets to 100 before leaving the range. The turrets always repeat. The only things that could have been better IMHO are. I would have gladley givien up the ARD for a sushade and instead of a quick zero reset, a push pull turret lock -like on the objective adjustment- would have really put it over the top! I've used mine all winter, on 9 degree days and in freezing rain and it works flawlessly. April 9, 2013
