Combining Nikon's advanced Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass and Vibration Reduction(VR) system in one spotting scope, the EDG VR Spotting Scope delivers bright, clear images with the most minute details. Powered by four AA batteries (not included), the VR lens-shift type system reduces vibration to approximately 1/8 during observation to provide images with greater detail.  These scopes combine chromatic aberration compensating ED glass elements, advanced multilayer lens and prism coatings, and dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coatings to deliver tremendous clarity and brightness. Nitrogen filled for sure waterproof and fogproof performance, even in extreme conditions. Comes with aspherical eyepiece lens. Works with all seven of Nikon's EDG Fieldscope eyepieces (sold separately). Features three different mounting holes for a tripod to give you mounting options. Built-in sliding hood.
