I have been wearing the New Balance shoes for many years, this is the only shoe that holds up to the torture I put them thought. I realy like them.

Gotta hand it to NB this time. I wear a 12-4W and pushing 400lbs. Have had many pairs of assorted NB to get the width I need. However many NB styles will "roll" over the sides of the shoes over time for me. BUT, this 608V3 style feels very stable and I can tell after wearing them only a few weeks they are going to hold up.
I love them so much I just ordered another 3 pair!

I put these shoes on...and walked for 5 1/2 hours with no problems and no break-in. I walk 8+ miles a day everyday doing my job of delivering mail and I have always liked NB. This is my first pair of 608s and I just plain love them. Compared to NB 479s and 407s (my usual shoes I buy) the 608s felt a tad bit better.
I do believe these will be my "go to" shoes if I can continue to get them for $40 seeing that I go through 8 pairs of shoes a year on the job.
I did notice a lot of NB shoes that were made in the US of imported parts are now made in Indonesia. The quality is slipping a bit in my 407s but still the 608s is great shoe for the price.

yes, my arches are so high I can only ware tie shoes, but I live in New Balance. Hope that helps ?A:Â
