These shoes fit very well. I was excited to find them in a Wide size. The tread has great traction and I can wear them all day without them hurting my feet. The only reason for 3 stars is because the last eyelet on one of the shoes did not quite hit the sewing machine at the factory and it was missed by the quality inspector. To avoid the hassle of returning this product thru the mail I pulled out my darning needle and thimble and sewed the leather eyelet on myself. It only took a few stitches to put it on but since these shoes are so expensive, you would think that the quality would be there too and you wouldn't have to mend you sown shoes before wearing them.

These are extremely comfortable for a hike but also have great grip for climbing up rocks and trees. Running on rough terrain and trails is also comfortable and leaves me knees and ankles much less sore than when I wear my running shoes to go trail running. Definitely recommend for the money!

I had a pair of New Balance similar to this a few years back, and was excited to see a pair that was almost identical. I usually wear a 6.5, but these are a little big on me. I will still wear them, as they aren't big enough to cause blisters. The coral part of the shoes was brighter than what I had thought it would be. Doesn't stay tied well, but maybe with time once the strings aren't so new, they will stay tied. Overall a great shoe. Very comfortable and great for the trail!
