New Archery Products Spitfire Edge Mechanical Broadheads
I have used spitfires in original killed and recovered deer. Spitfire Xp Pros killed and recovered deer, Spitfire Maxx killed and recovered deer. This season I gave these a try. Serretrated blades 1 3/4 inches of the nastiest cut imaginable. 3 broadheads in the pack, 3 recovered animals. A doe 21yds via rangefinder heart shot dropped her in her tracks. #2 45yds double lunged 8ptr 100yds done. Blood looked like a water hose poured it out. Taxidermy said looked like a .243 hit the deer. Last one 6yds out of a blind. 60yds and done. Broadheads were shot from a bowtech tribute 70lb draw 28in axis 340gr arrow. NO BLADES BROKE NO FAILURES TO OPEN, GREAT BROADHEAD.

Took my sister-in-law hunting ( her first season ) I had checked her out on my Parker Terminator 175# crossbow to where I was confident she shot it well. We were out hunting on the evening of 12-18-12, and she shot a pretty good size doe at about 40 yds. After walking to the site of impact we found the bolt. I inspected the broadhead and noticed 2 of the 3 blades were broken off and the 3rd was bent. We followed a good blood trail for about 75 yds, then all of the sudden it just stopped. I am comfident that she made a good clean hit because of all the blood and flesh that remained on the bolt it's self, but I truely believe that the blades broke on impact and the bolt with a single blade passed thru the deer. I will not every use this broadheads again and do not reccomend them.

I have killed several deer with these broadheads with awesome results. There is no rubber bands to fail and they open every time. The blades are easy to remove and replace. As far as penetration,I shot a doe last season and it went clear through her, hitting the doe beside her and killing her as well. NEITHER deer went 20 yards!
