Solid Fall Away for the Money I decided to switch from a Bodoodle to a fall away rest this year but was on a budget. This rest had everything that I wanted and was in the price range I wanted to stay in. I have loved this rest ever since. If you buy this rest you will need something on the riser that will not allow the arrow to make direct contact while the rest is in the down position. I bumped my bow last night and spooked a doe because my arrow bounced on the riser. Take the time and add some mole skin or any arrow holder to avoid this issue. I just didn't take the time and it cost me a big doe at 20 yards. Rest is easy to set up and is a GREAT deal for the money! September 23, 2010
Best Drop Away Used This is by far the best drop away I have used. It took only 10 minutes to put on my bow and only had to tweek it a little. Improved group within the second set of six arrows I shot. Zero arrow contact, Good Product.. Just received it will have to wait on durability rating, However, I don't for see a problem. NAP apache I switched from a trophy ridge wisker biscuit to the apache on my bowtech destroyer 340 and love it. The only down side is its a little hard to load but other than that its really quiet an wouldnt buy anything else and would definately recommend this product. July 20, 2011
value for the money Bought this sight for my Mathews z7 extreme. It is very easy to set up and tune. No noise when the rest falls. Improved my 20 and 30 yard groupings greatly April 18, 2011

Yes. Per NAP this rest does work. However, you will need the Carbon Apache to fit properly. Thank you.

The drop away has a cord that is served into a compound bow's cable to raise it when drawn. I cannot see how you would usethis on a recurve

Set screw

Details:
The small set screw or grub screw how will it help support the unit if using the additional plastic back plate?

This screw does not have enough thread length to hold the unit, pass through the back plate & secure into the riser. Or am I missing somthing?

I had this screw break on me on the first pull on one of my bows. I contacted the company and let them know what happened and they were very quick on sending me a replacement. If you want to replace it yourself. Go to a DIY store and get a peice of all thread the same size at a lenghth you desire and make it happen. Being as you are located in the UK the second option is probably the quickest for you and not very expencive. This is a good rest

I am assuming it is already installed on the bow. In that case yes. The only issue is that some bows can not fit the Apache rest. I shot the Apache with my Monster 6 and ST Axis arrows with no issues. It is plenty fast falling out of the way.

I have not tried shooting FOB's on this rest but i dont see a problem with it. The cage around the rest is plenty big enough for FOB's to fly though and the rest has no fletching contact on my elite judge. I would think it would work fine for FOB's.
