As simple as a tool can be. I love it. I was using the old step through the string and hook the ankle to string and unstring my bow up until this arrived in the mail. The stitching and the leather are good the string is, well a string. It works, I like it.

Its' been a while since I used my bow -but-once I got my bow ready to set up and got the stringer adjusted to fit it, it was as easy as 1-2-3 just like the instruction sheet showed.

There are two stringers listed, but no description or chart. What is the difference between the two? Are either of them for recurves?Answers
A:Â
The picture provided is the longbow stringer. The recurve one has a deeper pocket for the bottom tip of the bow to rest in. You can use either stringer to some degree on longbows or recurves, just make sure the tips of the bow sit firmly in the pockets. I always turn the bow away from my body when finished with stringing the bow (in case the string slips out of the grooves).Answers

This is a longbow stringer. You may want to go to a Bass Pro location in person. In store, they carry a recurve stringer or two that will be safer for you and your bow. I can't find one the website, but I know they have them in the stores.Details:Â
i bought this thinking it was the string now im second guessing myselfAnswers

This is the bow stringer. This will save you time and a fight with your bow trying to get the bow and string properly set for shooting. Don't send it back or give it away you'll be glad you held on to it.1 of 1
