I purchased this arrow puller for my crossbow arrows. There is not enough arrow left sticking out the target to grip the shaft without gripping the feathers also.
This would probably work with longer arrows or weaker crossbows. I have since purchased a srcew in type threaded arrow remover. This also keeps the arrow straight as I pull it out.

I works Awesome. I would highly recommend having one when shooting bolts or arrows. makes removing them very easy.
