Rated 1 out of 5 by Cannot recommend this tent, We purchased this tent for to use when camping and off-roading. It was a novel idea in theory, but does not work well in practice. Mainly, it leaks! A lot. 1. If the vehicle does not sit on an incline, downhill of the tent, water will leak off the roof of the vehicle into the tent. (We were using it with an 07 Wrangler Unlimited). 2. The two windows in the tent (not counting the door and vehicle hatch) were completely open, there is no zip up window covering, for privacy or waterproof, its just screen. So first, if the rainfly is not set up, anyone can see right into the tent. Second, its much colder and draftier in this tent than in any other we have used. But, third, and most importantly, the rainfly was not long enough to cover the open windows all the way around. Even staked and tied down on all four corners, you could see through the gap between the rainfly and bottom of the screen. We had it set up in September, in Utah, in a very light rain, and overnight, large puddles formed on the floor of the tent. Luckily for us, we were sleeping in the jeep, and our bottom layer of gear was waterproof. We contacted the manufacturer, sent measurements and pictures as requested, and received a new rainfly to test. Setting it up, the new rainfly was barely longer than the first, and while it covered the window, I would not trust it to hold up against wind and rain. So my conclusion is that this is a design flaw, not a manufacturing defect, and I cannot recommend this tent to anyone. December 23, 2013
