An economical way to enjoy the advanced design and pure destructive power of a Muzzy broadhead and its Trocar tip. The MX-4 is a 4-blade, 100-grain, short-profile broadhead with an extra-wide cutting diameter of 1-1/8''. Its super-sharp blades are built extra-thick to maximize impact on flesh and bone.

    Features:
  • Hardened steel TroCar Tip for maximum penetration and enhanced flight stability
  • 1-1/8'' cutting diameter
  • Blades interlock in aluminum ferrule for additional stability
  • Vented stainless steel blades

Rated 5 out of 5 by where is the blood i shot 2 deer w/these heads , i recovered both deer, both were shot while i was on the ground, both were double lung shots both deer were found within 40 yds. November 21, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by First bow kill I shot my first deer on October 16 using muzzy MX-4's. They are very accurate and very durable. It was a 30 yard shot that hit behind the shoulder and hit the large leg bone on the other side, leaving a quarter sized hole and a lot of blood. He only went 20 yards. The only damage done to the broadhead was a couple nicks on one blade. November 1, 2008
Rated 5 out of 5 by Deadly and Accurate This is my first season using the MX-4's. I was drawn to them due to the Trocar tip and 4-blade design, along with the readily available blades (both hunting and practice blades). To share my experiences with these heads and tuning -I initally shot with 3" vanes with a slight offset, and my groupings were about 2" high/right compared to my field tips (bow is a Bowtech Extreme w/Muzzy Zero Effect drop-away). I have since experimented with 4" feathers with helical fletch, and am now shooting consistently with my field tips. I don't think my initial groupings were as a result of the head flying badly -it was just a product of stabilizing my arrow to effectively handle a fixed-blade head compared to expandable head (previously using Snyper XP3's). I have already taken a doe the first day of the season and was very impressed with its performance. The 4 blade design and trocar tip made an easy double-lung pass-through at 32 yards, with no tracking necessary (she dropped within 25 yards). Overall, I love this head and will continue to use them in seasons to come. Thanks Muzzy! October 6, 2008
