Muzzy 3-Blade Fixed-Blade Broadheads
Muzzy's are great broadheads!
After being out of the sport of bow hunting for 12 years I bought another bow and jumped on the open on impact broadhead trend because that's what was recommended to me. I shot a large 200+lbs 8 pointer from 11 yards with a rage broadhead that I hit perfectly for a heart and double lung shot. After initial blood on the spot and 20 yards out I never recovered the deer and there was no more blood. I believe the 2 blade rage deflected off the deer's rib cage since I was twenty two feet up in my tree stand and there was a relatively high angle shooting down at short yardage to the deer. I started thinking about it and the last 3 deer I shot with Muzzy's in the 90's went a total of 70-75 yards. One buck dropped on the spot from a Muzzy, a second ran 50 yards and piled up and the last one went 20-25 yards and dropped, no tracking necessary! Muzzy's don't fly quite as well as open on impact blades and that's why I'm giving them a 4 star review, but still fly very well if your bow is tuned properly. You also don't have to worry about deflections and your blades opening, so I won't stray from Muzzy's again! If you want a tried and true broadhead that kills game quickly and ethically you won't be disappointed with Muzzy's! Oh yeah and a 6 pack of Muzzy's is same price of a 3 pack of Rage broadheads.

these are the worst broadheads ive ever used. they may be sharp but the accuracy is horrible. they are not consistant and will only hit the target if you get lucky ive ruined too many arrows with these heads and will soon be switching to rage.

Fly well, quiet and effective
These are great! All of those who are loyal to Muzzy have plenty of reasons. Yes, mechanicals fly a little better, but don't cut nearly as good as Muzzy! Sure, cut-on-impact heads cut slightly better, but Muzzy are quieter! I like the size, ease of use, sharpness, and the popularity makes it easy to find replacement blades when I need them at the last-minute!
I recently was able to compare over 200 different broadheads from over the years, and Muzzy was best overall! If you're new to hunting, try these and you'll be hooked! Leave good blood trails, often pass-through big game, cutting a good path through vitals, fly well (and you want to align the blades with your fletches to improve this), and keep a good edge. You can sharpen them with a small (stick) knife sharpener very easily.
If you're currently a mechanical broadhead loyalist, you may not be totally convinced with a fixed-blade but these have a lot going for them and are your best chance if you're going to convert.

Best for the Money
The best broadhead for the money hands down. The replaceable blades allow you to have a brand new broad head for next to nothing. Also the TroCar tip goes through ribs, shoulder blades, etc easily. I shot two deer with the same broadhead this year and had a short blood trail to follow each time. Save yourself the money and don't but Rage or any of the other "big-name" brands... Muzzy is the way to go.
