Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Vest, Nice Fit Even for a Big Guy Have not had the opportunity to use the vest and I hope it never has to inflate. However the fit is great and the belt extender fits this vest and makes it large enough for me with plenty of room to spare. I wear a size 64 sport jacket. I am a 4XL person. I know I will be much safer now when on the water. The vest is a little heavier than the BPS 24-Insight that I bought my wife. March 10, 2013

Yes, I have seizures and if I go in the water I have no control and need a vest that works immediately and must be capable of supporting me until rescued. When I needed it Last week it worked exactly as required.

I just bought one. It's a MD 3087 BC. BC stands for "BASS Competition". Not sure what all the BC part adds besides the big MUSTANG patch down the left side. Looks like it has more neoprene at the collar, comparing them on the Mustang website.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. When it inflates, it's like a regular life jacket except it has more flotation. The automatic feature inflates it if you go in the water.
