Rated 4 out of 5Â by ChuckH Mustang Rearming Kit
You have to rearm your Automtic Life Jacket every few years so this item is essential. It is easy to install. The one drawback is the price. If you could buy the bobbin individually, the CO2 cylinder could be purchased for about $10 elsewhere. This kit should be about half the price.

the vest is a bass pro modle
the vest inflated in my garage over winter so needed to re-arm the vest, Ordered the re-arm kit installed it as directed and the vest immediatly inflated so wasted my money!

Rearm kit installed easily, instructions were clear and easy to follow. But I've learned to stow my self-inflating life jackets in monster sized Zip-Loc bags until we get into the boat. Humidity can cause this brand to inflate in the boat's storage locker.

A:Â
Yes, the bobbin should changed because your rearm will inflate.A:Â
Inflatables manufacturers do recommend replacing the bobbin no more than three years apart and when replacing the arming kit. This may need to be done even earlier if you live in a more humid environment.1 of 1
