These hooks r sweet.... I fish the rivers more than lakes and get into brush, weeds, logs, and have no problem getting them stuck or caught. The hook sets great and I catch a lot of small mouth with them....they r sweet!

The eyes on these hooks are large and easy to use. The weedguards stay in place well.

Who says this is a freshwater product?! Don't limit yourself. I use these hooks on soft swimbaits and worms in freshwater and saltwater all over South Florida, including the grassy flats of Biscayne Bay between Miami and Miami Beach. That's where I catch Snook, Tarpon, Barracuda, Speckled Trout, Cravalle Jack, Bluefish, Snapper, Sheepshead, Ladyfish, and more. Thanks to the large eyelets, you can rig these hooks in multiples for long baits like worm baits (see photo). These are the best weedless hooks in production. I hope Mustad never stops making them, although it would be great if they also offered a heavier duty version.

fishin weeds was such a pain; these make it much easier and i dont think the hookup ratio suffers

Is the eye hole on these hooks big enough so that I can put them on crank baits and poppers to make them weedless?

I had a version of these weedless hooks made by gamakatsu, but the eye holes aren't big enough for me to fit them on the rings of my crank baits and poppers (where the weed collecting treble hooks normally are). I know it sounds weird but i think it might work nice if i could find weedless hooks that fit.

Yes. Plenty of room for a split ring. I have done what you are talking about. But those Gamakatsu hooks DO NOT have enough room for a split ring.
