  • Special wide gap
  • Ringed eye
  • Opti-angle with Ultra Point
Ultra Sharp, Ultra Strong.
Ultra Point  is created using state-of-the-art three-stage Opti-Angleâ„¢ sharpening technology which removes less metal from the point than traditional methods—without compromising sharpness. The result is an ultra-sharp, ultra-strong needle point that delivers quick, easy penetration...and longer performance.

The Mustad Ultra Point Triple Grip Treble Hooks feature a special wide gap design and an opti-angle Ultra Point to deliver quick penetrating, reliable hook sets. Uncompromising strength and sharpness.
Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as advertised I wanted a short shank for crankbaits and these are not a short shank like it says in the description. Good hooks, though. August 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product These hooks are very sharp & they seem to stay sharp longer than original hooks, they are also a little shorter so you can up size without the hooks catching each other, haven't had any bending either, The way they are shaped seams to not get hung up like a round bend hook, Very good product! May 3, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by See no holding advantage I tried these over the round bend trebles I normally use, thinking they might have a holding power advantage, but I see none over the round bend and may even be a little harder to get a good hook set because the point is bent in more toward the shank. I would not buy these again. I have heard that the Owner Stinger 41 has good holding power. January 24, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mustad # 8 Ultra NP Triple Grip (Blk. Nkl.) I've used other brand for years. However, unable to find their # 8 EWG treble hook for small crank baits. Switched to # 8 Mustad Ultra NP Triple Grip special wide grip (Blk.Nkl.) a few years back. I am totally satisfied with the reliable Mustad # 2,4,6, and 8 Mustad Ultra NP Triple Grip. I highly recommend and encourage you to give them a try. January 5, 2011

How many are in a package?

Seems to be a fair question. I wonder why it hasn't ever been answered.
A major competitor lists 11 per pack.

yes, they do come with 11 per pack. A little odd for me cause i use two per crank. Was left with one in the box.

A:
That would depend entirely on the size of the crankbait. Most pros use a size or so larger than comes with the bait
