Rated 3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great replacement hooks I was replacing the rusted treble hooks on my salt water lures. Most of my large trout lures needed a size 2. None of the local shops carried stainless treble hooks in this size. These are good quality at a reasonable price. June 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by double or treble hook I ordered these hooks based on the picture which shows a double hook. I should have read more carefully because what I got was a normal treble hook, which to be fair is what the title says. They seem like good quality and very strong hooks. December 28, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by not trebles These hooks are not trebles, they are 2 barbed hooks December 14, 2010

How can you tell which models are treble and which are doubles?

A:
The majority of your Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi) feathered trolling rigs are doubles. This is in case you want to run a split tail and hooked to the double hooked rig so it will run true and straight. A double is of course two hooks permanately attached to one solid shaft and one eyelet. As far as treble hooks are concerned I personally would recommend two; #1. VMC , they come in different sizes, carbon black, bronze, or brushed stainless. Plus you can get them in different strengths up to 6x. #2 Mustad, they have shown a superior all-around preformance in saltwater, the brushed stainless is the one I would recommend. The big difference between other than hook sharpnesss from VMC is Mustad is priced much more resonable.
