I have been pouring my own jig heads for close to 30 years and have used just about every brand and style of hook available to me, and the standard issue Mustad aberdeen jig hook is a solid hook.
The only reason I only give it 4 stars is because I can only rate 1 brand as the best, or best bang for the buck and these aren't that, but they are certainly good enough for almost every situation one could conceivably come across on the water.
These hooks will fit your light wire round head molds, many tube head molds and numerous others.

want to compair the mustad hook to the gamakatsu hook when pouring the stand up do-it mold
Details:
i want to pour some do-it tip up screw lock molds and they call for a 604 gamakatsu hook but they are so costly compared to the mustad hooks. do you see a problem using the mustad hook and which mustad hook do you think i should use
