I fish for Northern Pike in remote Canada. Having a good steel leader is important not just due to the weight or power of the fish but to also disslodge them from the weeds they inevitably dive into after the strike. These steel leaders are high quality and well made and less "snags" on them to hang up in the weeds. I usually wear out the coatings/ paint before they ever break.

why do i use this? its because its less of a hassle with sinkers and swivels. It includes a sinker thats not too heavy and allows you to have cast distance. Also, unlike some rigs, this one is just a straight rig with no useless things stickin out. I'd recomend this to anyone.
